Daily update is a system scene that you can use to prompt users to register for daily updates when they invoke one of your Action’s intents. When a user registers for daily updates, they can receive a notification on their device every day at a pre-scheduled time to see content from your Action. Daily updates are available only on mobile devices (Android and iOS).
To set up daily updates, first create the intent you want to send notifications for. Then, in the Actions console, click Develop in the top menu and select Intents. Select the intent you created and click + to add a daily update subscription flow. Next, select a scene that you want to run the daily update system scene in. Under User intent handling, select the daily updates subscription flow. If you’re using a daily update registration prompt, consider personalizing the content and making sure that it provides enough value to justify the user’s decision to subscribe to daily updates. Also, avoid repeating the daily update registration prompt in other contexts, as it may overwhelm your user with repeated suggestions to subscribe.
